Ok, it's time that we start joining affiliate programs. It's important to join the right programs. Some programs may reject your application, so do not worry. It is not necessary that you join all the programs. You must have a decent blog or a website to join an affiliate program. Once your application is accepted, you will receive links which you can promote.

It is not necessary that you promote these links on your website or on your blog. You can post these links daily on your facebook wall and send an email to all your contacts in your contact list on gmail (or any other email account). Think about all other ways to promote these links.

How it works :

• Sign up as an affiliate by clicking on ‘Sign Up’ link.
• Choose any product/page URL from our website and add the following tracking parameters to it:
  ?utm_source=aff_prog&utm_campaign=afts&offer_id=&aff_id=
• Use this link to advertise and refer traffic to Snapdeal. If a user visits through this link and makes a purchase on our website, you will be credited with the referral fee!

Commissions & Payments :

• For Content partners*:
  Electronic Categories - You are eligible for 10% of the Sale Amount to a maximum of Rs.    1250
   All Other Categories - You are eligible for 20% of the Sale Amount to a maximum of Rs.   1250
  For the time being, the payouts would be visible as flat 10% of the Sale Amount, which would be adjusted as per the category classification during the validations.

• For Shopping partners*:
  Electronic Categories - You are eligible for 2.5% of the Sale Amount to a maximum of Rs.  2500
   All Other Categories - You are eligible for 12% of the Sale Amount to a maximum of R  400
  For the time being, the payouts would be visible as flat 2.5% of the Sale Amount, which would be adjusted as per the category classification during the validations.
• The orders would be approved after 30 days of the transaction recorded.
• Cancelled/Returned orders would not be eligible for the referral fee.
• Cookie duration in our affiliate program would be 24 hours

How to Paste the HTML Code into your blog/website?

Place Ad on a Blog -

1. Create a new post on your blog or open an existing post where you want to place the Ad
2. Click on HTML to switch to the HTML Mode.
3. Select where you wish to show the affiliate Ad on the blog. It can be in between  paragraphs or at the start or end of some information on the page.
4. Paste the code that you copied from the SNAPDEAL page where the code was generated.
5. Save or click on Compose to view your blog with the Affiliate Ad

Place Ad on a Website -
1. Open the page of your website where the Ad needs to be placed
2. Select where you wish to display the Ad and Click on Insert > HTML Code. It can be in between paragraphs or at the start or end of some information on the page.
3. Paste the code that you copied from the SNAPDEAL page where the code was generated. This will drop the code into your page.
4. Once it has been saved, you can view it by visiting your website page.
